One of the great destroyers of the church is mask wearing. Mask wearing creates a sense of hopelessness on the part of the hurting. "Everyone else has it together. Why can't I?" It also has created a culture that distrusts the church and rejects the truth. Erwin McManus, pastor of Mosaic Church in LA said, "People have given up on the truth because they don't believe anyone can be trusted."
Get into a small group and begin to cultivate the quality of openness and honesty. Watch what God does in your life. You'll begin to grow like never before. God promises to bless the humble, but he will stifarm the proud. "Confess your sins one to another and God will heal you."
